Your Crosby legal tracker gives you a live view of in-flight legal matters without leaving Slack. Each card shows the document type, current turn, who the next step is waiting on, and how recently the matter changed.

The tracker is available in Slack channels where Crosby has enabled it. It is view-only and updates automatically from your negotiation threads, so there is no second system for your team to maintain.

Open your shared Crosby Slack channel and select the legal tracker tab at the top of the channel. If the tab is not visible, open More to see the channel's additional tabs.
New legal requests appear automatically after they are triaged. You do not need to add a card or maintain a separate spreadsheet.
The board groups each active matter by who has the next step.
| Column | What it means |
|---|---|
| With Crosby | Crosby is reviewing the request or preparing the next response. |
| Needs your action | Crosby needs information, a document, an approval, or an internal business or legal decision from your team. |
| Ready to be sent to counterparty, or with counterparty | Crosby has cleared or returned the document. It may be ready for your team to send, or already awaiting the counterparty's response. |
| Done (approved/signed) | The matter has been approved or signed, as confirmed in the negotiation thread. |

Why one combined counterparty column? Documents are often sent outside Slack, so the tracker may not be able to distinguish between “ready to send” and “already sent.” A quick update in the thread gives Crosby the context needed for the next refresh.
